Siu-Mei, a Cantonese dish made of meat roasted on an open fire and coated with flavorful sauce. It is also popular in Taiwan and well-known as a Hong Kong cuisine. My favorite is white chicken with spring onion sauce!
This photo was taken in Sheung Wan. The white signboard with Chinese calligraphy in green, the oily brownish siu-mei and the declicate exterior wall tiles in the background attract my eyes.
This is a traditional taste of Hong Kong!
