「枸杞」的營養和功效

前一陣子買了本關於營養的書籍,放在床頭。昨夜睡前隨意翻閱,剛好看到「枸杞」的營養和功效,原來好處多多,摘要如下:


1. 富含褪黑激素,能改善睡眠

2. 在所有常見乾果內的抗氧化效果,排第三,是葡萄乾的五倍

3. 富含「玉米黃素」,可以預防眼睛黃斑部退化 (導致失明),而且含量是蛋的50倍。


剛好現在是春天,這個季節的早餐我很自然就會喜歡有點甜味。後來閱讀一本中醫書籍,發現原來春天在五行中屬木,可以吃些甘甜的食物,心想,「聆聽身體的需求,原來是有道理的!」


我煮麥片時,會撒些枸杞和龍眼一起煮,就有自然的甜味,再加上一些乾果,簡單又方便。

Gojis have the highest concentration of melatonin, the third-highest antioxidant capacity of any common dried fruit- five time more than raisins and zeaxanthin which can protect your eyes from macular degeneration. With regard to the zeaxanthin content, goji berries have about fifty times more than eggs!


I like to cook my oatmeal with Goji and Longan to add some sweet flavor. According to Chinese medicine, it is good to have some sweetness in food in spring.
